Changing hard disk

Requirements:

At least one hard disk is installed in hard disk drive rack.

No hard disk operation

Key for hard disk drive rack

Step Action Menu path

Deselect desired hard disk.

Caution: Removal without deselecting the hard disk

will cause a software crash and loss of data.

Setup Menu... > System > Storage >

Information > Type X

Swing out the hard disk cover on the front of the

device.

3 Unlock the hard disk using the key.

Open the drive rack frame and pull the hard disk out

on its frame.

Open the drive rack frame for the new hard disk and

slide the hard disk into the drive rack slot of the video

recorder.

Swing down the frame.

Result: The hard disk is now connected to the video

recorder.

7 Lock the drive rack using the key.

8 Swing the hard disk cover back into position.

9 Select the new hard disk.
